I don't believe you can cook a closed oyster like a clam. They must be opened first. And I also don't think you should go the hot & sour route with oysters and no cheese on them. They are very delicate and you can ruin their taste and texture.

I think my spouse fights dirty, did I really deserve this?

I noticed that my spouse always fights dirty. I think he reacts too mean and doesn't see when he's wrong. So there's this thing he does that really gets on my nerves. He knows it gets on my nerves and I have told him many times to stop. What he'll do is, he'll pretend he's going to hold my hand and once I hold it, he'll squeeze it and fart. I know it sounds funny, but I think it's idiotic and he really knows how to kill the mood. Sometimes it's funny, but for the most part it's old and I think he's messed up for making me think he's about to do something sweet. So today we went to the beach with the kids. We were all starving and ready to go home to eat. In the car he did that again and this time I pulled my hand away quickly in an irritated fashion. I was tired, hungry and PMSing. When we got home he asked me if I wanted something to eat. He only asks me this when I'm in a bad mood because he knows I will ignore him and he wants to make me feel bad by making everyone something to eat and not me. I stood quiet and he made some sandwiches and didn't make one for me. Now before you guys question why he's the one making the food, I cook or prepare all the meals pretty much every single day. He only asked me if I wanted something to eat because he knew I'd ignore him and he wanted to have the pleasure of feeding everyone but me. I think that's pretty mean cause he knew we were are starving our s off and I'm always making him something to eat. He did this just because I ignored him, but why does he do stupid things like grabbing my hand to fart? I'm so annoyed right now. I think denying me food as a way to get me back for ignoring him is pretty low. And of course I am a grown adult and can make myself something to eat, it's just the principle that bothers me. Why does he think he can act like a farting buffoon all the time and think I'm suppose to be happy about it? I told him it hurts my feeling when he pretends like he's going to do something nice and instead ridicules me. He just says "Oh stop it" and ignores my point. Am I overreacting? It’s not even about the stupid farting thing. It’s more about him wanting to make me feel excluded as a way to punish me.

My mom and menopause?

My mom has recently told me that she wants to leave my step dad and move in with me and my husband. No one knows of any existing problems between the 2 of them. This is just all of a sudden. It would be fine for her to move in but we have no room for her. She knows that the only extra room we have in our house for our baby that will be here in a couple of months. My dog likes poopy diapers?

My dog likes to eat baby poop diapers! She does not eat the wet ones or clean ones. If she gets a diaper and is not sure if it is wet or poop she sill tear into it and leave it alone if it is just wet, and eat all of it if it is pee. I usually have the diaper genie, but I also throw them in the trash in our bathroom if I am near there. The dog will dump the trash to get to the poopy diapers. This is driving me insane!!!! Yesterday I get 3 BFP! The only problem is I started bleeding a little, not dark, kinda pink, but then it seemed like tissue was coming out, not a lot. So I went to the doctor and took the three test with me. They did blood work and ultrasounds and told me that they didn't see anything (it's too early) and that my hormone level was less than 5 and they have no idea how I got three BFP. Hey so im 21 and just need a little advice. Ive realised im either really lazy, depressed, or ill in some way but cant figure out which. I work 5 days a week as a waiter at a family restaurant. I wasnt able to go to college after high school due to the fallout of a rather dysfunctional family i grew up in, yet at the same time i never had much intrest in a career at the time as well. I now live on my own, dont have really any family members other than a younger brother i speak to on weekends over the phone and have a friends over a couple nights a week. The thing is i am shy and now that i live on my own without any contact with family i feel ive lost my sense of direction in life. Looking for a new full time job seems difficult and beyond time consuming and it deters me from even thinking about it. I sleep in till noon everyday and then either sit on the computer or play video games all day till work and then continue with it when i get home and i seem to do this everyday in and out. I rarely meet girls at work and even when i do i find it such a hle to get to know them better and go out with them that i end up making excuses and lose my chance. I just seem to have excuses for everything and cant tell which are viable and which are me being lazy. I feel almost stuck in the position im in as i cant afford to keep a car on the road with my income, im insecure and overthink everything it seems. So whats the deal? I cant tell if im over thinking everything and need to accept that im a bit of a loner, if perhaps im depressed, or that this is just who i am and everything will fall into place with time. i suspect i know where you are heading with this but whatever. As much as you would like to make this a black or white issue, it is not. The simple answer is , technically true. There is no doubt that muslims base their faith upon Judaism the same way Christians did and thus are worshiping the same God with different rules. Some christians like to claim differently and ironically point to deities worshiped by people of the region prior to islam and their similarities. I find this ironic because the God in chrisitianity is likely a combination of various deities in Asia Minor and Europe. The bottom line is both groups believe they are worshiping the god of Abraham despite any historical links to other possible beings. You won't find a single muslim that says any prayers to a moon god. You won't find a single christian who prays to Mithra or one of many deities that one could argue the Christ myth has basis in.

Excess Iodine - Helpful?

Just a little background - My brother has hyperthyroidism and so does my dad to a certain degree, both are skinny. I used to be skinny at 6'4 and only 150lbs. Then for the last 2 years I've tried to consume over 6,000 calories a day to gain weight along with lifting weights. I've gained 50lbs, most of it muscle, but I couldn't seen to gain anymore weight. I couldn't eat anymore then that because it was getting too expensive to buy 42,000 calories of healthy food a week. So I did some research on iodine and how your body needs a certain amount of it for your thyroid to function. I decided to take excess iodine (37.5mg per day) and I've noticed that I've gained weight, even though I've been eating less. I feel great and have been getting stronger and stronger every week, what are the negative side effects of excess iodine? I don't feel any and its been about 3 months taking WAY more then the recommended amount.

First I did X-ray the result said I have chronic bronchitis, then I made a CAT Scan and result says: I do not have any problem in lung, in my spine or even something to heart issue, at least CAT Scan result says. It was only really gory in one scene. The blood is not realistic at all but i believe they did that on purpouse. There are several scenes where there is blood and a little bit of gore, but mostly just in the one scene when he first starts killing people.

Her name is Roxy. She is 3 years old and very sweet, playful and loves to just get out and run. She isn't much into the whole "play fetch" thing. She doesn't listen very well when I call her to come to me. She is very curious to surroundings and likes to "go explore" or run off for a while but eventually she comes back. This happened when she got loose off her chain or out of her collar. I don't know much about this mixed breeds habits or diet. She is has a long body and is thin but not to where you can see her bones or anything. Is this normal? She has a long nose and one blue eye and one brown. Yes your dog can sense your cousin's aggression but if she is growling at everyone but you that is not the problem. I'd say she has been abused in her past, and because you treat her well she has formed an unhealthy attachment to you and is jealous / protective of you against anyone else. She is probably not naturally a dominant "alpha" dog but feels she has to try to be because you're not giving her the vibe that you're in control of her. This is probably also why you can't trust her at home for 6 hours, which at 3 yrs old you should be able to do - she gets separation anxiety and acts up when you're away for too long. There are techniques for dealing with all this, I would strongly suggest getting professional help in this case because it sounds like she might bite someone, which is dangerous, mostly for her because it might end up with her having to be put down.

I know I'm probably asking for it but I just had to get some different perspectives on this three way relationship I'm involved in. My boyfriend and I broke up over a rumor that I was cheating on him. He found out it wasn't true but not before he married someone else. But he married this woman not for love but for convenience and financial security. He was desperate for money to pay some pressing debts and she propositioned him with the money in exchange for marriage. After realizing he was wrong to have listened to those rumors about me, he called me to apologize and we started talking and mending bad feelings between us and realized that we still loved each other very much. The fact is we weren't just a couple but best friends. And we truly missed each other. We talk everyday now. Most times up until the early morning hours while his wife sleeps alone in the bedroom. He now makes his bed on the living room couch and that's fine with her. His marriage is virtually less. It came to light shortly after getting married that they don't share much in common and she doesn't care much for and is not very affectionate with him. We see each other quite often now. And he'll make up excuses to go out of town on "business" so we can enjoy weekends or sometimes even week long trips together or we'll just chill at my place. At my family Easter, I was blown away by the amount of ignorant racist comments I heard from my aunt, my mom and my brother. Has anyone ever incubated Alligator eggs successfully?

A local pond that I often fish at also contains Alligators. On a recent visit to the pond I came across three men haring (unknown to them) a mother Alligator defending her nest. These morons didn't even recognize that she was sitting atop her nest as they attempted to capture her. As I was by myself, and there wasn't much I could physically do, I whipped out my cell phone and threatened to call the police. To my surprise, these men then turned on me and threatened to "beat my *** if I didn't get the **** out of there." Needless to say, I left and went to the other side of the pond and witnessed the men pin down the Alligator and haul it off in their pickup truck! As far as I know, when the baby Alligators begin to hatch, they will make sounds that alert their mother to dig them out of the nest. She also will form a sort of pod with them and help watch over them for up to a year. I am concerned that the poor things will not make it without their mother. Does anyone have any info or experience in incubating the eggs? I understand that the placenta's inside of the egg are fragile and must be handled with care, and that the eggs should not be rotated and kept around 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I am considering attempting to incubate the eggs myself and releasing the babies back into the pond when they are born. Any help would be appreciated!

Why did they focus more on crappy live-action shows and focus less on cartoons. I remember when they had cartoons like Recess (still airs in Canada) The Weekenders and they actually had good live-action shows like Even Stevens. You can drink while you're ttc but I wouldn't get too crazy w/ it because that wont help your cause. As far as caffeine goes that also doesn't help when you're ttc but its still ok. As far as the baby goes too much caffeine is harmful. I would suggest both you & your partner get on a multivitamin & dont change your life style drastically just drink in moderation & make sure you're not taking in too much caffeine. Good Luck!

My boyfriend enjoys camping, but I am not much of an outdoors person so we have never really gone. Why is my husband such a douche bag?

I'm a stay-at-home mom since January of this year. I've worked all of my adult life and WE decided that when we have kids I'd stay home for the first few years. Times are tough and we're on a tight budget but what choice do we have since daycare costs about $300/week in my area? Anyway, I feel like he's jealous or resents me for getting to be home with the baby even though if given the oppertunity I'm sure he'd chose not to be the main caregiver. He thinks I sit around on my duff all day watching Soaps and treats me like crap or ignores me 70% of the time. Like for instance, this evening he was flipping channels on TV and I saw a commercial for a show I wanted to see so he changes it before I had a chance to see when it's on and I yelled for him to change it back and he freaked out! Called me a fat, f-en, stupid b*tch! WTF? Ok, I didn't have to raise my voice but dear Lord, did he have to be so hateful? Granted, I'm about 20 lbs overweight, I had a baby and am struggling to lose the last 20 out of 50 lbs I gained, but do I deserve to be talked to this way? And then he told me to move my fat ***. Two fat comments within 5 seconds! Not like I was skinny when we met, I was almost the same weight I am now. Anyway, what was my question? Just needed to vent I guess. I can't live like this, what do I do? Lose the weight and cheat on him? Ha.

It's not at all like giving a lottery ticket to a waitress as a tip. Because a blackjack bet has about a 50/50 chance of winning. And if it does win they get double the amount. All these people saying dealers want you to just tip them, not bet it....well they are crazy. First - most players don't tip at all so a player making a bet for the dealer is appreciated. Second, it's your choice to tip so do so however you like. Third, most dealers know in the long run they will lose half of those $10 bet/tips and win half and get $20. It's found money anyhow to them and it makes the play a little more fun. If it lost then she should have said "thanks for the try" at a bare minimum. With only one try and no acknowledgment I'd let it slide and wait a little bit and do it again for $5. If that went without a thank you then I'm done. A good dealer would not miss on saying thanks, but they do have a lot to handle so cutting a little slack on the first one is probably in order.

You can't see the boiler losing water, because it is going out of the overflow pipe which is connected to the Pressure Relief Valve. You need to replace this component, as the valve spring has weakened and can no longer hold the water pressure on the boiler. It is a sealed unit and cannot be repaired.Loss of the water will stop your boiler from firing up.

Bump on testicle, is this cancer for sure?

ok so my left testicle a year ago had a hard bb size lump in it attached to the testicle, I went for a ultrasound and it turned out to be a calcium deposit. I was happy but recentll on my right testicle I found a bump about the size of a bb on the backside of it, so now I need another ultrasound. The funny thing about this bump is sometimes I can feel around for like a hour and not find it, then all of a sudden I find it, sometimes It almost feels like its not connected, feels like a half shell...like a peacan shell pressing on my skin and bubles up. I mean its hard, like stone kinda. But its hard to find and im wondering if its connected to my testicle or not, sometimes it feels like its part of the testicle and sometimes it does not.
