In To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee what is the main conflict? ?

I was thinking that the protagonist is scout and that the antagonist is Bob Ewell but i wasn't quite sure. If those are the protagonist and antagonist, then would the main conflict be that Bob is causing the Finches to be called names and gossiped about or what? And what would the Internal conflict be, external? Help I am so confused!
