If I fertilize with Ammonium Phosphate Sulfate can I use a potium product too?

If I use one fertilizer with nitrogen and phosphorus can I use another fertilizer with just potium? Would it be more or less expensive? My goal is to get up the phosphorus and the potium but I need a little bit of nitrogen for the microbes.
