Is there a Haendel's influence in the seventh symphony of Beethoven?

Beethoven did not discover Handel until late in his life, when he said "he was the greatest of us all". This was after the 7th, but you can clearly hear the influence in the "Consecration of the House Overture" by Beethoven, one of his last orchestral pieces.
