I want to try a faux hawk. Should I go to a barber or to a stylist?

I would go to a stylist, they would be more familiar with what you want done and can also give you tips and tricks for styling it. Also a tip is generally 10-15% of the total cost so for a $12 hair cut you should give them between $1-$2 but that seems like a very small amount so I would five them between $3 to $5 to let them know you appreciate the cut :)
