Best Digital Camera for these Conditions:?

My mom wants to buy a digital camera and she's completely technology illiterate (the only thing she can do on a computer is email and chat on AIM). I'm trying to find her a cheap (but good) camera that's simple. It doesn't need all those extra features like, "fireworks mode" or "text mode" or any of that. Basically, a camera with a simple design (preferably one without the "wheel" that you use to choose menu options) where you can easily identify the shutter on and the on to view the pictures.
