How do you give money to poor people?

I would just not give out any bank information you have for sure. Some of those charities, unfortunately, take advantage of people's kindness, and you can't really trust who the money's going to. I think the clothes thing you're doing is a great idea. And I usually try to give money to the poor people you see on the street. I know most people say "they're probably just gonna buy beer with it!", but how do you really know? And I think you're great for wanting to help, by the way.
